Torre della Pagliazza is the oldest surviving tower in the grand and ancient renaissance city of Florence and, along with the church of San Michele in Palchetto, has been restored to reflect its former glory. During restorations, a number of valuable artefacts were uncovered – artefacts which are now exhibits in the Hotel Brunelleschi’s private museum.

The Hotel Brunelleschi Florence is situated in a small and tranquil piazza, hidden away just a few metres from Piazza del Duomo. Piazza Santa Elisabetta, which shares its name with the Hotel Brunelleschi’s Gourmet Restaurant, is also home to the oldest surviving medieval tower in Florence, the Torre della Pagliazza, which forms part of the hotel.
