DELUXE ROOM
The double Deluxe rooms overlook the famous Via dei Calzaiuoli, the fashion shopping
street for excellence in Florence. Refurbished by architect Benelli, they are
26m² minimum in size.
Some of them are furnished with 2 single beds (each 200cm long, 95cm wide) which
– on request - can be joined together to form a king-size bed (200cm long, 190cm
wide). The remaining ones are equipped with a king-size bed (200cm long, 180cm
wide). Beds are enriched by four luxury pillows (two hypoallergenic type and two
feather type).
Exclusively-designed contemporary furnishing. The oak parquet flooring creates
a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. There is available a capacious wall-in closet
to store your pieces of luggage.
Beds are fitted with Privilege Beautyrest Simmons mattresses for extra anatomic
support and unparalleled comfort.
Satellite 42” LCD TV with Sky channel, direct dialling, conditioning air and
heating remote control, safe deposit box. The wide bathroom is equipped with bath
or shower box, hairdryer, magnifying mirror, fluffy terry towels,. slippers and

Room overlooking Via dei Calzaiuoli, a most famous pedestrianised street in central
Florence (it was enlarged in the 15th century to make room to shoes and clothes
shops). Today the real shopping district in Florence, it links Piazza del Duomo
to Piazza della Signoria

The celebrated Brunelleschi’s dome topping the cathedral church in Florence is
the largest masonry dome ever built (inner dome diagonal is 45m, outer dome diagonal
is 54m)
In 1420 prominent architect Filippo Brunelleschi won a public competition by
the Opera del Duomo and began to erect the great dome of the Cathedral in collaboration
with Lorenzo Ghiberti. The dome (except for the lantern) was completed in 1436.
The Giotto’s Bell Tower (known as the Campanile di Giotto) stands isolated next
to Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral.
Tower’s foundation digging started excavated around 1298 upon starting the construction
of the new Cathedral (at that time Arnolfo di Cambio was the master builder).
